Although the Tour de Pablo fiestas have passed (this was a string of gatherings I did before moving to Mexico), the celebration lives on! This is a celebration of the individuality of each of our dreams, and the purpose that those dreams and passions posses! This post is a recap of the Tour de Pablo (Paul's going away party) presentation, with the videos and main ideas from the party! I really hope it gets you excited about who you are, the potential that you have, and the incredible purpose your passions posses! So, the conversation begins, I am moving to Mexico City in 9 days. This step is one of the biggest steps I have taken in my life-thus far, although I'm sure a future step will steal that title in the future, as such steps seem to become steeper with the progression of time and faith. Where did this step come from? It comes as God has been drawing me to it through teaching and showing me more about myself. Myself in this context being, my passions, and desires, and how they fit perfectly into the potential that my story possesses. Pause for a sec, how crazy good is it that God intricately create me with a passion that is perfectly complimented by my testimony? Hence, giving me a desire/calling that he has equipped me for by the work he has already done in my life! That is exciting! Now, before you give me the "I'm happy for you!" while low-key being sad wishing you were in the same boat, hear this, we ALL came from the same creator! I promise you, that God spent just as much intentionality creating you as he did me or anyone else! I further promise you, that His desire for you is to live life passionately pursuing the dreams and callings he created you with and for! There are no exceptions to his Love, or the potential He placed in each one of us! He Loves us SO much! As for me in sharing this step, I do not hope to create an audience, I hope to create a curiosity that leads and inspires people to take steps in pursuit of their own passions.
Which leads into this, below is the video that was shown at our Tour de Pablo fiestas, it REALLY nails the message I hope to encourage all of you with, check it out!Amazing message, which leads me to a couple of questions I would love to ask you!
What are your passions? What invention is locked inside your head? What cure? What dream? What idea?
Maybe you're in the place I was a few years ago, in that if someone asked me what my passions were I would have to give them a "I'm not really sure". Retrospectively, I see, that that is OK! What brought me personally from not knowing to knowing was a willingness to explore what I thought may be or become my passions. For me, if I had not have been willing to step into an open door when I was 18 which was going to Mexico long-term to be a full time missionary, I would not have arrived at my current understanding of my passions! So, are you willing to explore and enter into doors that may open in your life? Furthermore, in that exploration, are you willing to build a door where they may not have been one, when you feel there is something to be found on the other side?
"Doubt has killed more dreams than failure ever has!" What would you do in life if you had no fear? Your fears may seem legitimate, but will you allow them to keep you from living your life to the fullest? For those of us who are in Christ 1 John 4:18 tells us that there is NO fear in perfect Love! If we are in Christ, we are in the Perfect Love that this verse depicts, and therefore every fear is rendered VOID! So, back to our question, what would you do in life if you had no fear? Well, that question deserves to be answered, and that answer may just be what relentless pursuit of your passions looks like!
We were all created on Purpose, with Purpose, and for Purpose! Are you willing to explore and pursue your passions even when that means taking a step into the unknown? It will never be easy, it will likely not make sense, but I promise you, you will be blown away by the Joy and Purpose you discover in the pursuit!
I truly believe that we all have passions! Will you embrace and pursue them? Or ignore and neglect them?
Thanks so much for reading, I hope and pray this post will push you closer to living in passionate pursuit of your dreams, for His glory and your good! I would love to hear your feedback, hear more about your passions, and answer any questions you might have! You can connect with me on social media, or message me through my contact page! Love y'all!
