“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10 NIV
I want you to do the world a favor by saying this with me:
"I am God's handiwork...I am created in Christ Jesus..."
The power of those two statements will unlock something potent and incredible inside of you. If you belive them.
Are you willing to tell yourself those truths until they become the very basis of what you believe about yourself? The very foundation of your identity? So often we look at ourselves in the mirror, and we see what we have done. We see how our actions have made us feel. We strugle to see anything worthy of love. Why do we look for self-worth inside ourselves when Jesus Christ deemed us WORTHY? Can we stand at a blood-stained cross, shake our head, and say that it was not enough? When we stand in front of a mirror and shake our heads in disgust, we are disagreeing with the FINISHED work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
"I am God's handiwork...I am created in Christ Jesus..."
Those are the loving words of our Holy Father! Man, He loves us so much!
We are, who He says we are.
What can you change today, to better equip yourself relentlessly live in your true identity in Christ? Are there any social or technological influences in you life that are holding you back? Let go. Let God show you who you are in Him.
